The Porcupine pendant lamp was inspired by Datura Seed Pods and Native American Indians basketry weaving techniques.
The Porcupine lamp is made up of a steel wire frame tied with Abacá. Strips of Flat Reed Splint are interwoven over the wire shaped frame.
The twist in the weaving allows the lamp to form cones on the external surface. The natural flat reed splint act as a diffuser for the light source producing a natural inner glow.
